P.B.L-Term 1
This term our Project Based Learning (P.B.L) has been about kindness and the big question was: How can we build community through our actions?
First, we explored some collaborative activities and discussed how we could include kindness and build a sense of community through our actions at camp. Next, we were organised into groups where we had to unpack the above question. In our groups we considered how we could spread community and kindness through our entire school community. We decided that we would offer something that was free and would make others happy.
Reflection:
We created an action plan and we decided to spread kindness by running multi sports for Paiaka.
For our final product our group organised multi sports for Paiaka.
How did our action build a sense of community in the school? We built community in the school through our actions. By organizing games that the students enjoyed playing.
I contributed by... coming up with ideas and helping everyone.
I think the P.B.L might impact on others by teaching others new sports they don't know of.
What I learned about working with others was... knowing everyone's names and see how they work as a group.
I was a pupil at St Francis of Assisi School and this blog is where I shared my learning. This blog has been archived, no further content will be uploaded or added. You are welcome to continue viewing posts, however commenting has been disabled.
